MyTeachingSheets ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the MyTeachingSheets website and the MyTeachingSheets Auto Pins application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, including our integration with Pinterest.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Name, email address, username, password
• Pinterest Connection: When you authorize our app to access your Pinterest account, we receive and store access tokens, board information, and your Pinterest account details
• Content Information: Titles, descriptions, images, and URLs of worksheets and bundles you create
• Communication Data: Messages, support tickets, and feedback

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type
• Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, interactions
• Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URL
• Cookies & Analytics: Google Analytics and session tracking

2.3 Pinterest Data

When you authorize our Service to access Pinterest, we access your boards and create pins on your behalf. We do NOT access your followers, messages, or private pins, and we never store your Pinterest password.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Primary Uses

• Authenticate and authorize your identity
• Create pins on your Pinterest board when you approve products
• Operate and improve the Service
• Send notifications and support responses
• Analyze usage patterns to improve functionality

3.2 Pinterest-Specific Uses

• Automatically pin worksheets to your selected board upon approval
• Display your boards so you can choose where pins are posted
• Track pin performance and analytics (optional)

3.3 What We Do NOT Do

We do NOT sell or share your credentials, access private information, post without approval, or share data with third parties except where required by law.

4. Data Retention

• Pinterest Tokens: Until you disconnect your account
• Pin Logs: 2 years for troubleshooting
• Account Data: Retained while active, deleted within 60 days of account closure
• Cookies: Per browser settings (typically 1-2 years)

5. Data Security

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security audits to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correct, delete, or download your personal data. You can also disconnect your Pinterest account at any time. Contact us at support@myteachingsheets.com to exercise these rights.
