How the Classroom Rotation Works

Place the investigation cards at separate stations around the classroom. Small groups begin at different locations, read the assigned case, and record their responses on their own recording sheets. After each rotation, groups move to another investigation until they have examined every case.

Bring the class together for the station wrap-up. Students can compare the variables identified in different investigations, discuss possible sources of error, and explain which experimental decisions make evidence more dependable.
