Built for Grade 5 ELA Reading

The resource keeps the instructional focus on main idea while giving students opportunities to demonstrate their responses in both concise and extended forms. Multiple-choice and true-or-false tasks provide direct practice, while short answers, the reading passage, essay, and short note create space for students to respond in writing. Student Notes lines at the bottom add dedicated room for notes as students complete the worksheet.

Its clearly defined reading topic and Alberta framework designation make the resource easy to identify and place within a broader Grade 5 reading practice routine.
