Form and Message is a Grade 5 ELA worksheet focused on viewing and representing within the Alberta framework. It gives students a structured way to respond to the lesson topic through selected-response questions, reading, note-taking, and written responses.

Explore form and message through varied responses

Students work through multiple-choice and true-or-false questions before moving into short-answer writing, a reading passage, an essay, and a short note. The combination provides opportunities to respond to the topic using both concise answers and more developed written responses.
